We stayed in Zhangjiajie for 2 days and besides the colder weather we really enjoyed the outdoors and the beautiful mountains. I would highly recommend Wendy as a tour guide. She knows all of the locations very well and the best food we had was in Zhangjiajie.

My wife and I with 2 other couples have just completed a 10-day tour of Ziangjiajie that was conducted by China Highlights. Needless to say we were very impressed by the spectacular geological features, the sceneries and such man-made attractions as the glass bridge. Even more impressive was the tour itself: everything was up to expectations and ran like clockwork from the moment we arrived at the airport to the point of departure. We are especially grateful to the guide, Wendy, who was excellent. She spoke good English, was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend her to anyone planning to visit this area.

I had an amazing time at Zhangjiajie and already started to miss this beautiful scenic. The nature, the mountains, the air, stunning views etc. No words or photos can do justice of this stunning place! Thank you very much to Eileen from ZJJ for sharing this beautiful memory with me. We area a group of 6 people from Malaysia.Very well organised from pickup to departure. The car provided were new and big and clean. More than enough space for 6 of us with big luggages. Special mention must go to Wendy Yi our English speaking guide for the 7days. She was a gem. Most helpful and accomodating. We changed the routes almost everyday as there were some parts that we were not so bothered with. Very patient with some of us whom had difficulty walking and stayed with us until the end of each day back to the hotel. Excellent 5* to her attitude. No rushing through each day to finish. No tourist traps. No marketing. Made the holiday very enjoyable and easy. Very good English as well and pre-empted our needs.

La région de Zhangjiajie merite vraiment le détour et China Highlights vous facilite beaucoup les choses pendant votre séjour. Le programme est aussi flexible quand la situation le permet et qu’il faut s’adapter à la météo ou changer un horaire de train, c’est appréciable et David est impeccable pour ?a !

We arrived at Zhangjiajie High Speed Rail station on Jan 2nd and were met by our local guide Bree (dressed in traditional Miao ethnic minority costume !) and our driver Mr Wu. This "no queuing" experience became a recurring feature on our next few days and is very satisfying (and time-saving), as long as you don't mind the colder temperatures in January ! We want to give special thanks to our guide, Bree, who organized everything for us so efficiently and accommodated us with our last minute requests such as wanting to see the cultural show and the 72 Wonder Tower. She is very knowledgeable about the area and culture and we learned many fascinating facts from her during the hikes and in the mini-van as we went from location to location. One of our party had sprained her ankle during the hike in the Grand Canyon and had some discomfort in walking. This would have been an issue on the last day as there was still so much to see on Tianmen Mountain and we had a train to catch that afternoon. Bree was not flustered by this and had worked out an alternative, less strenuous route for the injured party to meet up with the rest of us along the way. Luckily, we did not need to use this in the end. We were willing to forego lunch to make up for lost time due to the slower pace but Bree timed everything well. We managed to see everything that was planned on our schedule and still had time for a full lunch before we headed to the train station. We also want to give a shout-out to the driver Mr Wu too, for his pleasant disposition and patience in waiting for us all day as we went sightseeing. He kept us hydrated with bottled water in the mini-van and provided snacks and fruits. He even brought us his own home-grown organic oranges which tasted very sweet. Thank you ! We have had such a great experience travelling with China Highlights that we have already planned our third trip with them, this time going to Jiu Zhai Gou later this year.

What a fantastic experience. We spent three days in the company of Abbie, our amazing guide. Being in our late 70's Abbie looked after us as if we were her own parents! Always getting us to the front of queues. Finding interesting local eateries. The sights we saw were stunning, the steps we climbed were many. I can thoroughly recommend the Zhangjiajie tour, a unique part of the world, it has to be seen to be believed.

My family and I are currently traveling around China with China Highlights and it has been amazing. All the cars have been excellent, very comfortable, spacious and new. Lily, our guide in Zhangjiajie, was exceptional. Incredibly kind, attentive to our needs, and always with a smile. She always had snacks for us, was warm and joyous, and very knowledgeable. Of all the guides we have used across our travels, she may be one of the best. Highly recommend China Highlights and if you’re considering a visit to Zhangjiajie, Lily will make your trip very memorable.

We had a wonderful time at Zhangjiajie last week. The sceneries there were breathtaking and every photographs we took were picturesque. We haven’t travel with a travel agency or having a tour guide with us for a very long time but glad that we decided to travel with China Highlights. The itinerary planned was exactly what we wished for and the guide, David “Nearby”, was very knowledgeable and ensured that we had a smooth and fulfilling tour of Zhangjiajie. He shared with us some interesting stories of the place and even entertained us with his spontaneous singing. I would definitely consider China Highlights again and recommend having David as a guide.

We loved that incredible park, and Linda our guide took care of us, with a Big responsability and dedication. We fill gratefull.

It was one of the most memorable part of our trip with all the stunning scenery and exciting activities. Nonetheless, we were led by a wonderful tour guide (Anna) who understand our needs and pace, and guiding us through the journey. We walked through the town in Feng Huang for the night view upon arrival at 9pm and continue on the next morning before we departed to ZhangJiaJie. With some luck, it was after the peak season and we were able to visit in “VIP” style like the unblocked view going up the hallelujah mountain, the less crowded (close to empty) on some busses/shuttle vans, boats and etc. During our stay in ZJJ, my friend and I decided to challenge the Qixing Mountain via Ferata the next morning and our tour guide worked through the changes in itinerary and made all the arrangements for us. After a tiring morning, we end our day on a boat on Baofeng River enjoy the views and tranquility.

David was an exceptional guide who made our mountain adventure unforgettable. His deep knowledge, flawless planning, and quick adaptability ensured a smooth and stress-free experience. Our guide Tony made our visit to Zhangjiajie amazing. The place itself has so many amazing sites to see, and having Tony as our guide to show us around made it all the more fun and enjoyable. He was so personable, funny, spoke great English, and was very knowledgeable about his home town and all the sites we visited. He also knew so many great spots for food and tea and got us tickets to an amazing show. He also acted as our personal photographer at all the sites. Mr. Young our driver was also fantastic. He kept a very clean car, and was a smooth and safe driver. This duo makes me want to go back and spend more time in beautiful Zhangjiajie!

I had the pleasure of joining a tour in Zhangjiajie, and it was truly unforgettable thanks to our amazing young guide(Anna). From the moment we met, her warm smile and friendly demeanor put everyone at ease. She was incredibly knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the history, culture, and natural beauty of the area. Whether we were trekking through the Avatar Mountains or marveling at the incredible views from the glass bridge, she always made sure we were well-informed and comfortable. Her passion for the region really shone through in her storytelling, which brought the landscapes to life in a way that made the experience even more magical. She was also very attentive, making sure we had plenty of time for photos, answering all of our questions, and offering great recommendations for local food and activities.

We visited Zhangjiajie and Tianman mountain in November. We really had great time. Views are amazing. Local food is delicious. We feel so glad that we got Tony as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, professional and flexible with what we’d like to do.

A must visit destination in China. We were awed by the beautiful landscapes and the stunning natural scenery. Never have we seen anything like this before. We visited Zhangjiajie National Park, Yuanjiajie (Avatar Mountain), The Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, and Tianman Mountain. Initially we were intimated by what we had heard about the glass bridge. It turned out that walking on the glass bridge was a breeze and was fun. Lily Li was another fantastic guide that we had. She has a very pleasant and friendly personality. Her knowledge of the park was excellent. Lily was very patient with us during the tour so that we could enjoy the nature and beauty of this heavenly place at our own pace. We appreciate her dedication by staying late into the night both days during our visit. Her thoughtfulness of getting us the boxed breakfast and snacks for our 7am train ride to Guilin is much appreciated. She is a dedicated, caring, and knowledgeable guide who is very passionate about her job. Lily has made our visit to Zhangjiajie a lifetime memory. Also we'd like to thank the driver who was very polite and courteous and drove us safely through the winding mountain roads. Another great arrangement by China Highlights.

Zhangjiajie is truly an amazing destination, and our experience was made even more unforgettable thanks to our incredible guide, Abbie. She ensured our trip was not only fun but also deeply memorable. The trekking adventures to the stunning Hallelujah Mountains were thrilling, especially as Abbie guided us along less-traveled paths, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty. Her recommendations for local restaurants introduced us to delicious, authentic dishes we might have missed otherwise. Even in crowded attractions, Abbie had a remarkable ability to find the perfect photo spots for our family of four, making every moment picture-perfect.

Ann was such a knowledgeable guide and was so considerate of everyone's comfort on this beautiful tour of Zhangjiajie. She made our trip a nice balance of walking paths and cable cars, elevators, and escalators, depending on our level of tiredness.

Due to the cancellation of our original flight, we only have 2 full days in Zhangjiajie. Our guide, Lily, picked us up at the airport mid-morning and our tour of Zhangjiajie started immediately. We visited the Mt. Tianzishan and Yuanjiajie the first day via cable car and Bailong elevator, along with some walking. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! The second day we visited the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon with a long glass bridge high above the gorge and Tianmen Mountain with glass walkway along the cliff with clear view of the terrains below. We decended from the mountain via a series of 12 very long escalators! Lily was humorous, attentive and very personable. She belongs to the Tujia monority tribe which is actually a mojority in Zhangjiajie. She shared with us some of her culture and folklores. She also sang many folk songs for us and she was a very good singer. We were very lucky to have Lily as our guide.

Great job by China Highlights and our guide David for the visit of a lifetime to Zhjanjiajie. We were Blessed with great weather and David made sure we packed as much in as we could possibly see in 2 days. Great food at the restaurants he had lined up and we had a good time getting to know him while walking a bunch both days in the National Park. We were advised ahead of time to lower our expectations of accommodations and food choices as compared with the larger cities, but we had a great room with the largest bed we’ve ever slept on and terrific food. This was one of our favorite stops.

We loved that incredible park, and Linda our guide took care of us, with a Big responsability and dedication. We fill gratefull.

Amazing tour with Vicky to Zhangjiajie National Park and Mount Tienman. Vicky was fantastic and very knowledgable helping us explore these beautiful natural areas, and helping me with my fear of heights! Would highly recommend.

Our guide David was warm, knowledgeable and friendly. Made our ZhangJiaJie trip unforgettable! Definitely will recommend China Highlights if you’re looking for a Hassle Free experience!
