Alvin my tour guide, who is effectively billingual, is patient and passionate about sharing the history and culture of the province .I learnt many interesting lessons. I think I’ll highly recommend him if you intend to bring your family to immerse Chinese culture and history!

I had a wonderful time in huangshan ! and our guide tony was great ,he take care of us carefully and full of patients!he helps us take many nice photos! And thank you very much,make our whole trip smoothly!

Suki was our guide during a very enjoyable 3-day visit. Suki has a warm personality and ensured we were relaxed and had fun; she looked after us very well and has very good English.Suki is rightly proud of old Huangshan and on our first night led us on a fascinating walk along Tanxi Old Street, where there were plenty of opportunities to buy good local crafts and produce.

Great day trip with Philip. He has great knowledge of local history and culture. He is very professional and helpful to make the trip unforgettable.

My father and I spent a few days in Huangshan- wow! Such an incredibly beautiful place. We felt especially fortunate to have suki as our guide. Having grown up in the area, the mountain is her second home and she was fantastic in all ways— making sure my dad who is in his 80’s was well taken care of, got all of the particular shots that his novice photographer’s heart desired, and don’t wander off.

Our guide, Terry, is superb - very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Gave us a helping hand with our extra baggage up the hill. Lunches are great. Terry also showed us around Old Tunxi Road area and imparting his knowledge of the area. Thank you, Terry and his driver.

I recently booked a private tour with China highlights, our tour guide, April, May the entire trip unforgettable! Not only was she incredibly knowledge about the Anhui Ancient city and Huangshan, but she also share her experience in Chinese poetry and tea, which added a unique depth to the experience. Anhui is known for his, and April’s insights truly enriched my understanding.

Our tour guide Alvin is effectively bilingual in English & Chinese and was responsive & helpful throughout the trip. And we like the pace which was unhurried but efficient

Our guide Jack.Fan had such infectious enthusiasm for the area, we finished on a high point. Our visit to Hongcun, the village of Langqiao with it's covered bridge and our stay in top of Huangshan Mountain was so enjoyable, even with the very misty weather. Jack managed to take us to the areas of the mountain where the views opened up through the clouds and mist before disappearing. Definitely needed more time there.

Tony was great and we had super yummy food. I have to say yellow mountains is definitely a hidden treasure - we saw almost ZERO foreigners and it's one of the most beautiful places i've been to.

What made the trip even better was having Tony as my guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the history of Huangshan but also about the best routes to take. Tony made sure the hike was challenging but manageable, and he was always patient and encouraging, especially when the stairs became tough. His insights into the mountain’s natural beauty and cultural significance were truly valuable.Tony also took care of all the practical details, like making sure I had time to rest and even recommending the best spot to catch the sunrise after a long day of hiking.

Alvin, my guide made this trip most memorable with special insights and knowledge about the ancient town, legends and of course Huangshan mountain. We laughed as I slowly negotiated the many steps up and down the mountain side. We identified plants, birds, etc.He even carried my day bag so I, an 80 year old had even more energy.

Our Tourguide Philip was amazing, his English is perfect. He has a lot of knowledge and explains a lot. Next to that he has a very positive and gentle attitude what makes him good company. His relaxed way of guiding us through the mountains will be memorized.

Our tour group had an unforgettable time in Huangshan with our amazing guide Tony. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with all the small details. The Hongcun ancient city experience was very interesting. Then we visited Huangshan mountain which was even more amazing. Tony looked after us very well and provided detailed and interesting explanations throughout. Many thanks to Tony and Alisa for our enjoyable holiday.

Wir haben eine dreiw?chige China-Reise im August 2024 unternommen, perfekt organisiert durch China Highlights - Unterkünfte, Verpflegung, Transfers, Programm waren exzellent. In der Huángshān Gegend hat unser hervorragender Guide Alvin sehr zum Gelingen der Reise beigetragen - er war kenntnisreich, stets freundlich, und hat am Huangshang-Berg weniger überlaufene Routen gefunden, so dass wir eine perfekte Zeit verbracht haben.

We had different guides in different location and while there were differences, they all were fluent in English and guided us well. Specially Alvin, our guide in Huang Shan, was very knowledgable, fun and kind.

Alvin is a wonderful tour guide, very responsible, knowledgeable, and great personal touch experience I was injured during my trip in Huangshan, he helped me to received medical care there in a local hospital. The driver, Mr. Shi is a nice friendly person as well. They both took care of me to their best ability. I really appreciate for the great job they had done.

Our guide Tony is exceptionally experience and is very professional in guiding us. He explains the history of huangshan in a very detailed and easily digestible manner. 10/10 recommend this guide. He brings us to hidden gems area to take beautiful photos as well. His english proficiency is excellent.

Alvin, who went above and beyond to show us the "real" China. We felt like Alvins' personal guests the entire trip. He didn't push any purchases or store visits on us and stayed out late with us one evening for dinner. Our driver was also incredibly punctual, friendly and reliable and he and Alvin were a great team.

Our guide April made our trip in Huangshan most memorable. She was enthusiastic in showing us sunrise from the mountain peak which was beautiful, more challenging paths for us to trek with spectacular views. Her knowledge of the local flora and fauna was impressive.

Many thanks to our excellent and highly experienced tour guide, Alvin, for showing us some of the most spectacular sites to visit in Huangshan and sharing insights into their local culture and history. Alvin very kindly catered for all our needs and answered any of our questions, including teaching us some Chinese!Throughout the trip, Alvin understood our needs well, was flexible with timing, and carefully organised our schedule such that we had plenty of time to enjoy Huangshan and still catch our transport.

Alvin was very knowledgeable and familiar with the various routes in Huangshan. He was able to adjust our routes quickly according to our pace and condition at the mountain top. His explanations and sharing at Hong Cun was very impressive and it makes the visit more meaningful.
