Our trip to Guilin with China Highlights was awesome. We did a boat trip on the Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo as well as staying in Yangshuo and Xingping. The scenery was absolutely fantastic! There were limestone pillars everywhere and the people were so friendly. Our guide, William took us to all the best spots and gave us excellent historical and cultural information. He was always attentive and engaging with us. We sampled lots of delicious food as well as being introduced to local people - we even got some cooking lessons. Our hotels - Moondance (Yangshuo) and XingPing Island resort were friendly and welcoming family-style boutique hotels. Everything was so well organised we never had to worry about anything. (Thanks also to our CHL consultant, Chandler, who converted our original wish-list into an amazing itinerary).

We had a wonderful time with our guide William in Guilin. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and took great care of our large family group - including my 90 year old grandfather! We made so many great memories and were so sad to say goodbye to William when we left. I loved walking through old town and the river cruise to Yangshao. The sugar factory hotel was spectacular- if you come in the warm weather, don’t forget a bathing suit. Thank you China Highlights!

Tuvimos la suerte de visitar Guilin y contar con Alonso como nuestro guía, y no podríamos haber pedido una mejor experiencia. Desde el primer día, nos llevó a los lugares más impresionantes de la región y nos recomendó qué probar para disfrutar verdaderamente de la comida local. Pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue su atención y calidez. Cuando se dio cuenta de que mi cumplea?os estaba cerca, me preguntó cómo quería celebrarlo y luego sugirió algo especial: ir temprano a un mirador que no estaba originalmente en el tour. Además, él mismo se encargó de comprar un pastel y vino para la ocasión, asegurándose de que fuera un momento especial. Fue un detalle que realmente apreciamos y que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más memorable. Otra parte inolvidable del viaje fue el tour en moto por Yangshuo. Recorrer esos paisajes impresionantes de una manera tan auténtica y libre hizo que fuera una experiencia única. Agradecemos muchísimo a Alonso por hacer de este viaje algo tan especial. Su dedicación y pasión por lo que hace realmente se notan, y sin duda recomendaríamos esta experiencia a cualquiera que visite la región. ?Totalmente recomendado!

We asked China highlights for an itinerary visiting the places in Guilin we had chosen, and CoCo Yang has been very quick and responsive in preparing an itinerary to suit our needs. She has used her in-depth knowledge of each place to select activities that would interest us and be suitable for us . Lele in Guilin, whose enthusiasm and attention made us all anxious to get to know this beautiful city. Highly recommend Lele,CoCo,and China highlights.

I’ve never imagined Guilin being this beautiful and breathtaking. Especially the cruising the Li River is definitely one of the core memories for me. Thank you China Highlights and Tour guide Chase for making this happened.

in Guilin, we were assigned with our tour guide, Lele who was absolutely fantastic. Lele was knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Lele ensured we were always comfortable and well taken care of, all the time. My time in Guilin was wonderful and magical, thanks to Lele.I truly recommend Lele for his efforts.

From the moment I booked this tour, until the day I arrived in Guilin, this company took full responsibility and communicated very well. The train tickets and the tour guide & driver are top notch. This tour guided by Lily , the best tour guide ever, she has many other talented skills like speaks great English, Chinese traditional painting and knows her Chinese history very well. She took care of everything and always asks whether like or dislike of many things, like food choices and whether walking or car ride. The scenery we visited were breathtaking, surrounded by water and mountains. This tour company needs to give Lily a pay raise, she took her job very seriously. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, young or old.

Обязательно посетите гору Дракона(придется по лестницам подняться на 300 метров но это того стоит--гряда гор и река петляющая между ними...). Во всем этом великолепии сопровождала нас гид Цзина-отличный как гид так и как человек! Приятных, Вам, путешествий!!!

Our experience in Guilin and Yangshuo was amazing. Guilin is a dream city. The boat trip is highly recommended, the scenery, the friendliness of the people. Our guide William not only made sure we enjoyed the scenery but accompanied us to a culinary experience in the countryside that we will remember forever. A sidecar ride through the countryside is a unique experience. Thank you William for your warmth and support.

Our tour guide Lele who was our tour guide in Guilin was an outstanding tour guide who was very knowledgeable ,friendly and it was a real pleasure to be with him during exploring different attractions in Guilin and Yangshuo. Lele even went out of his way to help us to even do some shopping (buy fruits and snacks)in Farmer’s market . I have no hesitation in recommending China highlights for a trip in China. I will do another tour with them soon. Top marks .

Their iteniary was very detailed and very clear with hyperlinks and pictures of everything. It was also updated asap when there is any change. The Guilin tour guide was Lele who was very polite, very knowledable and very helpful. Overall its a great experience, as their chocies of hotels, tours and restaurants were all amazing. We are looking forward for the remaining .

China highlights was spot on with our trip planning & itinerary. Every detail of our trip was outlined and delivered to a tee. Our travel agent, tour guides, and drivers were kind, friendly, & professional. Lele was my in person guide and translator whilst I was in Guilin. Lele’s English was very very good. The best of all the guides I had during my two weeks stay. Lele had great details about all the destinations we went too. Lele was always on time and very helpful. Later on elsewhere in China if I had a problem I could call him on Wechat and Lele would find the right person to fix it for me. Very helpful. Thank you Lele ,excellent!.

Wir hatten zwei wundersch?ne Tage in Guilin. Unser Guide Lukas hat uns bereits am Flughafen abgeholt. Lukas spricht akzentfreies Deutsch, das hat den gesamten Trip sehr angenehm gemacht. Hiernach sind wir in eine Tropfsteinh?hle gefahren und zum Elefantenrüsselfelsen. Am Abend hat uns Lukas zu seiner Tante nach Hause zum Dumpling machen eingeladen. Die Tante hat uns aber nicht nur gezeigt, wie man typische Dumplings faltet, sondern ein ganzes Menü für uns gekocht. Am n?chsten Tag haben wir eine Kreuzfahrt am Li-Fluss gemacht. Von vorne bis hinten alles super organisiert! Danke Lukas, wir kommen wieder!!

Hervorragend organisiert, von der Abholung am Bahnhof bis letztendlich der Transport zum Flughafen zur Weiterreise. Lukas war 100 prozentig zuverl?ssig, hat sich unseren Wünschen voll angepasst. So stellt man sich einen perfekten Reiseführer vor

Wir waren zwei Tage mit Lukas als Führer in Guilin unterwegs. Er war einfach unbeschreiblich toll! Er spricht nicht nur perfekt deutsch und hat sehr viel Ortskenntnis, er ist auch unglaublich lustig und lieb! Wir haben sehr Viel gesehen, die Schilfrohrfl?tenh?he, den Elefantenrüsselberg und eine beeindruckende Flusskreuzfahrt. Das Highlight war jedoch ein Abendessen bei seiner Tante mit selbstgemachten dumplings!

Our trip to Guilin and Yangshuo with China Highlights was very tremendously awesome. Our guide, Chase was really superb and knowledgeable about the town. Everyone who loves to travel must come and visit Guilin and don’t miss the precious experience cruising Lijiang River. You will experience some wonderful and mesmerising landscape of Guilin throughout your journey. Not forgetting , Liz Li , the operator from the office who is really helpful and efficient in organising our 2025 trip.

Special shout out to an outstanding guide , William Wei, in Guilin who went above and beyond to show us a fabulous time eating local noodles and driving us around in a side scooter to all the most photogenic spots in Guilin. As well, he was able to retrieve my power bank that was taken at the airport - it was shipped to my next destination! All the guides were willing to take lots of pictures for us to help us capture and seal in the memories. If there was an issue, China Highlights tried their best to fix it. We would definitely recommend them to our family and friends.

Nuestra estancia en Guilin, Yangshuo y las terrazas de arroz de Longsheng fue fantástica con nuestro guía Alonso . Nos explicó todo detalladamente, adaptándose a nuestras peticiones en todo momento, en un ambiente a la vez muy cómodo y de muchas risas y momentos inolvidables que se quedarán para siempre en nuestro recuerdo . Totalmente recomendable si quieres hacer un tour en espa?ol ,no dudes en contactar con ellos, muy serios y responsables , cumplen con el programa establecido.

We travelled around China for 10 days as a family of 12 and our last stop was Guilin. Frank, our guide, had been superb even before we arrived Guilin. He was very responsive on messages and gave us amazing suggestions on how to best spend the short time we have in Guilin. He even helped us pre-book our New Year’s Eve dinner at the beautiful Sugar House. When we finally arrived Guilin after a long train ride, Frank welcomed us with a huge smile and took us to dinner then the impressive “Impression of Liu San Jie” night show by the lake. Frank was super accommodating and flexible with our huge group, brought us to the most beautiful cafe when we needed a toilet break, to a farm for a wholesome lunch, and took us on a short bike ride even when we had limited time. He even worked over time together with the driver to accompany us back to the hotel after new year’s countdown. Our family truly enjoyed our short time in Guilin thanks to Frank!

Our local guide William took us through Guilin and Yangshuo with great knowledge, experience and ensured that we will have fond memories of our time in semi-rural China. We especially love the countryside and Guilin and Yangshuo did not disappoint - its a must see. Thanks again William and awesome driver.

Hi，Lele, we have returned home for couple weeks and I wish to personally thank you for all of your several attentions. While I'm sure there will be an appropriate place for a formal review I will take the time here to express my appreciation for the professional way you and China highlights handled everything. For what it is worth, the Guilin local guide Lele was superior, and the driver did exactly what he was supposed to do. I would not hesitate to use again nor recommend you, China highlights the local guide at any time in the future.
