I and my wife have a great time with Ms. Mulan for this couple of days.Day 1 was a rainy day, she very fast in rescheduled our itineraries. Ensuring that our tours for both days are perfect.She takes note of all the little details, brought us roasted pastry and Elephant ear pastry. She even got us into the Peace Hotel, understand the history and watch a singer with the famous Jazz band performances.Thanks for the good times.

We visited Shanghai as our last stop of our China trip and had a great time before heading back! Shanghai is indeed the financial hub as it has lots of big and modern malls! Thanks to our tour guide Kris, for showing us around the modern and vibrant city! Kris has very good recommendations of food and also arranged transportation for us even after our regular tour! We are truly blessed and thankful to China Highlights for the amazing tour arrangements!

After going through immigration and customs at Pudong International Airport, our travel guide Kenny Wang was waiting for us to escort us to our car. Kenny was fluent in English and had an encyclopedic knowledge of Shanghai and all of the many places that we visited over the course of our weeklong visit. Kenny also recommended attending an exhibit at the Shanghai Museum which featured exhibits from ancient Egypt and China which was one of our tour highlights. When we wanted to change a scheduled visit, Kenny expertly accomplished a visit to a different location. Kenny assisted us in every way imaginable throughout our trip and made our visit to China one of our best trips ever.

just got back from our 3 night trip in Shanghai using China Highlights. Thanks to our wonderful guide Karen we had a great time . Karen was alway punctual and sensitive to our needs and wishes ,she was creative in thinking of things to do outside the usual tours ,from foot massages in a very upscale salon,several unique food markets which we loved to different types of shopping experiences and even a special surprise wedding aniversary celabration at the bund. thank you Karen and China Highlights

Our tour of Shanghai was fantastic. We enjoyed all of the sites on the city tour and the ancient water town. Mulan was an amazing guide and we especially appreciate the birthday celebration she planned for Mary! Thank you Mulan!

It is all about how great the guides/hosts are: Jason is a very amiable person. Well informed. Reads a lot which has helped him current on global affairs. I was impressed. Eleven personifies warmth and enthusiasm. Very proud of Chinese culture. Nasreen & I wish them all the best.

We had a fantastic time during our short visit, only 3 days, in Shanghai. We stayed at the Hotel Sunrise On The Bund. We had an excellent guide Kenny, who I sometimes think could read our thoughts about what we wanted to do and see. She had answers to all our questions and was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Shanghai. Among many places we went to Zhujiajiao Ancient town and YuYuan Garden where Kenny took us to real hidden gems and has so much to tell and show. Our visit was also a lot about food, we learned a lot from Kenny and tried many different dishes. We went to different markets and even took a cooking class where we together with our chef made 3 dishes. The whole visit went so smooth including pickup at the huge train station and drop off at the airport.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day tour of Shanghai. We were collected from the airport in a clean, comfortable 7 seater vehicle, shown around Shanghai and returned to the airport later the same day. Our tour guide, William, was excellent - he was polite, informative, cheerful and very reassuring company in a city we had never visited before. He helped us enjoy a delicious authentic Shanghai lunch and he made us feel very welcome. Before the trip I was contacted via WhatsApp to clarify all the arrangements by Suki. She, also, was excellent and the communication via WhatsApp was very efficient. We would highly recommend this company.

China Highlights operates throughout China and is the best at what they do. Virginia connected us with Zhou Song (Jason) as our tour guide for both days as well as a beautiful and spacious transport van for us with a great driver. We could not have hoped for a better guide. Jason is very smart, personable, highly knowledgeable not only about China and the places we visited, but also about the world generally. He speaks English perfectly and was efficiently able to get us in the most interesting places and make the best us of our time consistent with our particular interests. When we ran into a few local challenges with visa issues, things we wanted to buy or currency issues, Jason was able to solve every challenge quickly and easily. Virginia Fu, China Highlights and Jason (Zhou Song) were all a pleasure to tour with. We could not have asked for more and can not recommend more highly China Highlights for anything you might want to do in China. If you have the chance to travel to Shanghai, ask for Jason (Zhou Song) and you will be glad you did! We only wish we could have taken him with us on all our other stops throughout Asia!

We had a wonderful time exploring Shanghai and Suzhou with our guide, Kenny, during Chinese New Year. Her knowledge of the area and history was impressive, and she was so attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. While every stop was great, the highlight for us was definitely Tongli Water Town. Its charm and beauty made it stand out as the most memorable part of our trip. We’re already thinking about a return visit. Highly recommend this tour!

Christina was also extremely accommodating and flexible with our schedule. When we expressed that we have toured the Bund on our own the previous night, she offered to bring us to the French Quarters instead. Similarly, in Tongli, when we finished our tour earlier than the allocated time, Christina brought us to another garden in the area as she noticed that I really enjoyed the previous gardens we visited in Shanghai & Suzhou.

Did a day trip to ZhuJiaJiao water village..it was a great experience..went on a boat ride through the canals and did some shopping..also had some great local fare…our guide Helen was very knowledgeable and helpful..

This is an amazing tour in an amazing city. Martin (our guide) went over and beyond to organize everything that we needed and required. He made it very flexible for us to select the right restaurants, even made sure we were seated in the right seats in the bullet train, just wow. He was very knowledgeable and spoke a lot about the things from a Chinese pov, and how to better understand it. I would always highly recommend China Highlights and Martin. Thanks

We had an amazing time with Wini walking the streets of Shanghai and learning about the remarkable history and architecture of this great city. We got to eat delicious food and see many different sights and locations, including the 118th floor of the Shanghai Tower. Highly recommend to everyone!

We visited Shanghai as the last stop on our 3-city tour of China, and it made for a great finale! The city is so modern and vibrant and welcoming, just like our tour guide Kris. He’s fun and full of knowledge, fast moving but always giving you time to fully experience everything in your own way. He and our skilled driver got us to all the major sights on our list in a single day — including a couple extras — and each one exceeded expectations, thanks in part to his perspective, insights, and positive attitude. He even helped coordinate pickups and dropoffs for us after our regular tour was over. We packed so much into our 3 cities! We’re really thankful we found China Highlights to help us make the most of it, instead of trying to go it alone. Would highly recommend them — especially if you’re on a tight schedule and looking to make the most of your time!

It was our first trip to Shanghai / Suzhou for vacation. Winni was very patient and conscientious with us in explaining the historical background of each attraction. Together with the driver, they strive to provide us with the best service and care they possibly could. Keep it up!

Shanghai is a modern vibrant city with eastern cultures and western influences. In Shanghai, we were greeted by an energetic and charismatic person, Kris Lee of China Highlights. He accompanied us to the Shanghai Tower, The Bund, YuGarden, the time square of Shanghai, the French Concession, and Zhujiajiao. Kris was informative and provided us with plenty of facts and information about the places the we visited. The city view from the top of the Shanghai tower was amazing. We had a wonderful tour of YuGarden with its beautiful classical architectures and unique sculptures and carvings. The Zhujiajiao water town and boat ride was a welcome get away from the busy Shanghai center. The night scene from the Bund was beautiful and a must see. Shanghai is famous for dumplings and Kris introduced us to an assortment of dumplings and other Shanghai dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The check-in process for the flight home with his assistance was smooth and stress free. Kris is a very friendly, thoughtful, and courteous guide. He is informative and knowledgeable. Having him as a guide made our Shanghai visit an unforgettable one.

We had one day to visit the city with our guide William. And what a day, thanks to him ! From sunrise to sunset, we visited cool spots and he managed very well with all the timings ! And he took us to try some real shanghai food (in hidden places, and it was very good).Thanks again William for having shown us around !

Our tour guide Kris is a superstar! He has great knowledge of the history and culture, plus he joked around with us and made the trip even more fun. He speaks English very well and helped us with our questions in the hotel and the apps on our phones. When it was too foggy to visit the Shanghai Tower, his plan B was a lovely boat cruise on the Huangpu River, timed just right to see the amazing night time city lights.

Shanghai was amazing. My guide, Karen, was so friendly and knowledgeable.the weather added an experience by providing a typhoon! Even with the rain, Karen made sure I was able to explore Shanghai. The view from Shanghai tower was amazing - stunning at night.

My husband and I spent three day in Shanghai. We booked through China Highlights and our tour guide was Karen. She was a sweetheart! Our first stop was Watertown. We walked all around the town. She told us about its history, the buildings different shaped windows and designs, the food It was very enjoyable. And we went to Apo Tea House. That was really fun! We had two different types of tea and some snacks. Then we went to lunch. She ordered many different types of dishes for us to try. We thought we would never finish all of that food but we did! It was all so delicious! Then we went to the market. Karen was great there too. She helped us deal with market sellers and she got us a good price on what we wanted to buy. The next day we went to Fuxing Park. It was an amazing place! Full of very active senior people like myself. Karen and I tried to join in doing Ti Chi. And I tried a little dancing with one of the locals. It was such a great time! Karen was there for us at every turn. The people at the train station took my hair mousse from my luggage because it was too big. Karen ordered a new can for me and had it delivered to our hotel! She went above and beyond! We just loved her. I would highly recommend China Highlights. And be sure to ask for Karen to be your tour guide. You will not be disappointed.
