We took a trip to Chengdu and our guide Helen made it a fantastic expierence. She was knowledgable about the local areas and customised our plans throughout the day based on what we wanted to do. She helped us take good photos with the pandas and other good photo spots throughout the day. Our driver was also friendly and the car was spacious and cool.

Great guide Helen of Chengdu. She is VERY kind, VERY attentive, resolved every kind of problems, without asking her she already knew our needs or requirements. SUPER HELEN OF CHENGDU. She is a great professional, not only a tour guide, she is a very attentive person. Top A1.

We have had a great couple of days based in Chengdu with Evan from China Highlights. We have been well looked after, being collected and dropped off at the rail station and airport.Evan was very knowledgeable at each site but was fantastic at getting us to the best panda enclosures or the best positions to see the Buddhas. He was very flexible in arranging activities and took us to some great restaurants. We found the weather in March to be just right, mild and dry, slightly overcast cloud, so very comfortable and great light for pictures.

First time to Chengdu, greet by a lovely and friendly tour guide 谢菲菲。 The sightseeings are interesting and also 菲菲bought us try many local food and places such as 春熙路，IFS too. We are very satisfied the services of the driver

Our tour leader in Chongqing, **Richard**, was incredibly knowledgeable and flexible, tailoring the experience to suit our preferences and the conditions at each destination. His expertise made our time in Chongqing both enjoyable and enriching. In Chengdu, **Sammi** took great care of us, ensuring we were well accommodated despite our exhaustion. Her patience and attentiveness made a huge difference in our experience.

The second great highlight was the food selection. Helen took us to one local restaurant In Chengdu and other in Leshan. We were in love with the food. Truly authentic experiences in places that would be hard for western tourists to identify as good.

Chengdu - Helen guided us through the Panda base where we saw some of the new baby pandas in their habitat, the Leshan Buddha, evening show with changing masks and we had to have Sichuan local hot pot as well!

Our time in Chengdu with Sammi was absolutely fantastic! Seeing the pandas, especially the little ones, was such a special experience. Sammi also took us to a historic restaurant where we enjoyed incredible Sichuan food—it was unforgettable. We fell in love with the city and have already told Sammi we’ll be coming back, especially since we had to cancel a day due to illness. We’d recommend this trip and Sammi as a guide in a heartbeat!

I had an amazing trip to Dujiangyan in Chengdu! The site itself is incredibly impressive, with its ancient irrigation system and stunning scenery. Our fantastic tour guide, Helen. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. Her explanations made the visit much more meaningful. Highly recommend China Highlight for anyone visiting China!

I highly recommend Helen, who guided our group of three during a private two-day tour in Chengdu. From start to finish, Helen was proactive, enthusiastic and incredibly insightful. She shared fascinating information about the places we visited and offered deeper context about the culture and history of Chengdu and Sichuan. Her eloquent English, extensive local knowledge and friendly, accommodating nature truly elevated our experience. Her flexibility, patience and genuine passion made our stay far more enjoyable than it would have been on our own. She went above and beyond, making us feel like friends rather than just clients. Here are some highlights of what made our time with Helen so memorable: - Panda Centre: She knew exactly where and when to go to avoid crowds and see the pandas at their most active. - People's Park: She introduced us to the local lifestyle, including tea-drinking rituals, line dancing and even the fascinating 'marriage market.' - Local Market: At our request, she guided us to buy very sweet mandarins and pears from a local market. - Jinsha Museum: She provided detailed and engaging explanations, bringing the artifacts and history to life. - Jinli Old Street: She led us to the most interesting spots, helped us purchase local snacks and ensured we didn’t miss anything special. - Sichuan Opera: She arranged for us to watch an incredible performance at the city’s best opera house. - Local Restaurants: She took us to authentic local eateries far from the typical tourist traps — hidden gems we would never have found on our own, even with Baidu Maps. - Community Centre: As an unexpected bonus, Helen introduced us to a local community centre supporting the elderly and individuals with special needs, which was a heart-warming experience.

Helen in ChengDu was our guide. Beside her deep knowledge and experience, she is a very sweet, smiley and pleasant lady. She speaks very well English and Mandarin. Visited SanxinDui and the Panda was the best thing to do in Chengdu. Wish we had more time to explore.

Our family had an excellent time in Chengdu. Evan, our guide, has in depth knowledge of the areas history and used his expertise to get us in to sites quickly and easily. Very happy with our time here.

Booked a tour with Helen in Chengdu through China Highlights and had an extremely enjoyable trip. Not only was Helen very knowledgeable about things in China, she was also very accommodating and always looked out for the needs of the group. 10/10 would recommend.

We recently spent three wonderful days in Chengdu with a fabulous guide named Helen from China Highlights. She made us feel so welcome. She surprised our daughter with a special birthday gift and had a birthday cake delivered to our hotel on the big day. Our first day was spent at the Duijiangyan Panda Base. It was a cool, overcast day - perfect for panda sightings! They like to laze around on warm, sunny days. We also went to see the Duijiangyan Irrigation project - we marvelled at the ingenuity of the ancient Chinese from 2300 years ago setting up a dam system to channel the water from the mountain in two different directions. That first evening we went to see a Chengdu opera show at a local tea house. The next day we browsed the shops on Kuan-zhai Lane, visited a local park and took a private painting lesson on how to paint pandas! Helen was an excellent tour guide. Her spoken English was perfect. She was friendly, knowledgeable about Chinese history and culture, and just plain fun to be around. She really connected with our daughter which truly meant the world to us. If you're planning a trip to Chengdu, we highly recommend Helen from China Highlights. Oh, and you might want to spend more than three days to really take in all of the scenery and history Chengdu has to offer.

Had a really pleasant trip in Chengdu. Great food and great attractions there. But of course, the spice level and chengdu is not to be reckoned with. Special thanks to our tour guide, Helen in Chengdu as well as our driver. Really thankful for them to bring us around. Love the flexibility that China Hightlights provided. Managed to change some of the attractions one day before and we are able to allocate ample free an easy days as we prefer. Helen is also a text away when we needed some recommendations during our free and easy days. Frequent check and assistance by Helen to ensure that we have the best experience in Chengdu. 10/10 would recommend.

We had an amazing couple of days, guided by Evan. We saw some local theatre, went to Juizaigu, visited the Panda Center. Thanks to him, we go to enjoy it fully. He knew where to be and when to ensure we had the best experience. He was also very kind helping us when we faced troubles with our payment system. Thank you for all, Evan

Helen is a superstar! Our group of 6 spent a wonderful day with her visiting the Panda Breeding and Research Center in the morning. She has so much energy and so much knowledge, including fun little stories about the pandas, it was a great experience. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, Helen took us for our Sichuan Cooking experience where we had lots of fun and ate more good food. In addition to making our day in Chengdu wonderful, Helen also had the responsibility of getting me to the hospital for followup care due to an accident I'd had earlier in the trip. The next day when she took us to the airport, she stayed with us until we boarded the flight. There had been some question as to whether the airline would let me fly due to my head injury, and Helen wasn't going to let us get lost anywhere. She is very professional and very in touch with the needs of everyone in our group. Plus, she is lots of fun!

I highly Helen(方方）of Chengdu if you are travelling to Chengdu for your holiday.She is very friendly, jovial, helpful and knowledgeable too. She is also patient and waited for both my husband and I to finish sightseeing a place even if we took a little longer time, making us feel very comfortable to be with her as our guide!Please request for Helen of Chengdu to be your personal tour guide, you will not be disappointed!

Helen 方方, the tour guide from China Highlights Chengdu, was excellent in her job, taking good care of our needs and last minutes request to attend face change show.
