Chonzom was our guide for Tibet for a week. She was very informative and attentive, she understood our needs. I would recommend her to friends in the future.

I had an amazing time in Tibet. It’s an interesting place with breathtaking sights. My guide Lha Dup is a local and experienced at his job, he knows many things about Tibetan culture. He and the driver were very friendly and helpful. They were always worried about my safety and health. I highly recommend everyone to visit Tibet. I am glad to have chosen China Highlights for the trip. They are amazing and take care of everything so I don’t need to be worried about anything in my holidays.

I didn’t know what to expect in Lhasa, but we had a guide - Dorjee with China Highlights - who took us to everything there is to see. He was the best guide! Potala Palace is an amazingly beautiful site, with so much history and culture.

It was a 6-day tour from Lhasa to Mt. Everest. My guide was Choezom, who took care of all the itinerary with kindness. Our tour group was really lucky to see the sunset at Mt. Everest, which was extremely exciting.

We chose Asia Highlights to book a private tour of China, Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan. Alisa at Asia Highlights was exceptional from the start! She answered all of our many pre-trip questions quickly and efficiently.

Khamsang was our guide for 2 days in Lhasa Tibet and she was our favorite guide of the entire trip! She went above and beyond to make our time in Tibet so special and memorable. She greeted us with lovely traditional scarves. She gave us a wonderful tour of beautiful temples, monasteries and palaces. She knew exactly when to arrive to see rare and unique events at each location. She is passionate about Tibetan culture and we were mesmerized by her stories. Our driver was always friendly and on time. I would recommend Khamsang to anyone interested in discovering Lhasa and Tibet!

The views were amazing and we took many photos. Our guide, Mr. Kelsang has been very attentive and helpful during the Tibet trip. He is very skillful in taking group photos of us. Give a great thump up for his excellent service :)

Khamsong was the most knowledgeable and caring guide. She not only shared the history of Tibet and Buddhism; she also shared Tibetan life today as we asked many questions. She was extremely caring about the health of our group as one member suffered from altitude sickness. She arranged oxygen for her and had canned oxygen available in the van. Her English is very clear. She knew the safe restaurants and if too busy picked another to keep the day on track. I would highly recommend her to anyone traveling to Tibet.

We were met by our wonderful guide Tenchuong at the airport and he wrapped us in white shawls welcoming us to Tibet. We found the people of Tibet to be gentle, pious and welcoming everywhere we went. Tenchuong had a great knowledge of both the historical and religious aspects of all sites we visited. Tenchuong and our driver were wonderful and looked after us along the way, helping us to navigate local dining, lodging and customs.

We arrived in Lhasa after a 20 hour scenic train ride and was warmly welcomed by our guide Gelek. We are extremely appreciative of Gelek who took care of us throughout our journey in Tibet, making sure that we were comfortable and not experiencing the adverse effects of altitude sickness. Gelek was knowledgeable and accommodating, and it was an amazing experience seeing Tibet through his lens.

Gelek is a local guide with excellent tibetan buddhism knowledge and wide local social network. Coupled with attention to details and dedication to his service and work, he is probably the best english speaking tibetan tour guide one can get!

We had a great time in Lhasa and had a wonderful guide Mary who showed us many highlights of Tibet culture and life. Our favourite part was spending the day at the lake!

Our stay in Tibet was fantastic thanks to the kindness of Tashi, our guide, who accompanied us and showed us the wonders of his land. I recommend Tashi to everyone who wants to have an unforgettable experience in Tibet.

Mr. Dorjee is very knowledgeable and we can feel his passion about his job.Our questions were always answered and explained elaborately and make us understand the Tibet history more. He is also very friendly and helpful, and took great photos of us and knows all of the great photo spots.

The trip was made especially memorable thanks to our guide Chonzom. Her passion for her culture and the history of Tibet is palpable. She readily shared her knowledge and passion during our visits making it that much more memorable and interesting. She happily answered all our questions. Chonzom also took us to some authentically Tibetan restaurants where we were able to eat excellent local food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Chonzom for all you did for us as a family.

We were guided around by Kunga who gave us a great experience of Lhasa and lake Yandok. Especially the knowledge of Tibetan history and its customs was helpful to get a good understanding of Tibetan life. We highly recommend Kunga who is knowledgeable, speaks great English and is a great person.

But one of the biggest reasons why the trip went so well was the sympathy and knowledge about the places we visited with our guide Chonzom, always in perfect English and very complete information. We thank her for all the availability and accompaniment, from the airport to the various places we visited, as well as for the more general information she gave us, which helped us to know better the local culture.

Lhakdon, our guide was such a lovely person, always happy and smiling. A pleasure to be around. Her knowledge of all the places we visited, which included a number of monasteries and palaces, was excellent. She made our tour unforgettable.

Lhadup (tour guide) & Zirin are problem solvers. And they happen. It’s inevitable. They know what they’re doing and this is priceless.

Mary was very kind and very knowledgeable. She took her time and helped adjust to the altitude sickness we faced on our first day.

The trip was amazing. Learning about Tibetan culture, and seeing the sights on Lhasa was fantastic. The tour guide choezom was very informative and helpful. Just a warning, bring some cash. You can't use Chinese sim cards on Tibet unless you're a Chinese citizen, so you can't use WeChat/alipay in a lot of situations.

And, in Lhasa, our guide Sonam (Tenphel) was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, a great communicator, an excellent photographer (he took many, many of our pics), he solved problems, knew what gates weee busy and found alternatives, was flexible with our plans and explained a lot abo

We had a three days in Lhasa with Khalsa. She was above and beyond our expectations. Kind, knowledgeable and accommodating all our needs. She shared stories about the Tibetan life, took us to special eateries as I am a vegetarian. When we had to climb the numerous steps to Potala palace she helped me up and was patient when I needed a break every 20 seconds. She knows her material in and out. We went Drepung and spent many hours there exploring the different rooms then we went to the summer palace with its beautiful gardens and the cherry on top of the cake was temple Jokhang with the original Buddha from the time he was alive. On the second day we went to see the monks debating in Sera monastery. I’d say Khamsa made our trip perfect. Highly recommended.
