China Highlights Huangshan
Many years ago I asked my dearest Chinese professor in Australia where was the prettiest place to visit in China, he said "Yellow Mountain"...well we made it there in May this year. And to have also met with and had our amazing guide Suki to look after us and share her beautiful Huangshan with us was a treasured memory never to be forgotten. What a stunning experience, not for the faint hearted in regard to climbing, however there are options which Suki found for us as my knee injuries were not up to excessive steps etc so changes were made to accomodate my capacity. Thank you so much Suki for an exquisite stay. Tunxi Ancient Street, overnight on Yellow Mountain, Xidi Village and Hongcun Village, everything was superb. Robyn and Patrick more

Upon your arrival at Chengdu Airport, your private guide and driver will be there to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Chengdu. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace or simply relax.
Enjoy your breakfast, then take a 2-hour train from Chengdu to Songpan.
Founded 14 centuries ago, it was a key garrison in the Tang Dynasty (619–907). This ancient town on the Western Sichuan Plateau has admirably preserved its city walls. Today, its vibrant local life offers a glimpse into the city's past bustling tea-house trade. Be sure to try the local culinary delights: delicious yak meat skewers and hot pot.
After visiting Songpan Ancient Town for 1-2 hours, drive for 2 hours to a hotel near Jiuzhaigou.
Immerse yourself in the vibrant hues of Jiuzhaigou for an entire day. You will be transported by the park's shuttle service, touring the highlights from the top of either Rize Valley or Zechawa Valley, such as Five Flower Lake, Long Lake, and Norilang Waterfall.
Given the vast area of Jiuzhaigou, our professional guides will plan the journey, balancing shuttle rides and walking, to ensure you comfortably appreciate the most captivating views of the season.
Today, you'll travel from your hotel in Jiuzhaigou to the Huanglong area, visiting Huanglong National Park. Embark on a journey to China's only well-preserved plateau wetland national reserve and be awestruck by its stunning natural beauty.
After the visit, you'll return to Chengdu from Huanglong-Jiuzhaigou Station. Your driver and guide will ensure a comfortable return to your hotel in Chengdu.
After breakfast, embark on a 1-hour drive from Chengdu to Dujiangyan.
Visit the Dujiangyan Panda Base, where you'll have the opportunity to meet the adorable pandas. Many pandas, like Le Le who returned from Singapore, have made this place their home.
After lunch, witness the marvel of the 2300-year-old Dujiangyan Irrigation System. This ancient engineering feat still manages the Minjiang River's waters, nourishing the fertile Chengdu plains.
