Zhengzhou Railway Station

Zhengzhou Railway Station was built in 1904, and has been known as the "heart" of China's railway network. The station is one of the largest terminals and the most important transit points for railway passengers in China. It is the intersection of two major rail lines, Beijing-Guangzhou Line and Lianyungang-Lanzhou Line. Every day over 200 trains depart from this station and can reach most cities within China, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Dongguan, Harbin, Luoyang, Zhengzhou and so on.
Bullet trains are available to Shanghai (about 6 hours and 40 minutes), Beijing (5 hours) and Wuhan (4 hours). Train tickets for direct trains and bullet trains can be bought within 20 days ahead of departure date, while tickets for other trains can be bought within 10 days ahead of departure date.
Transportation to Zhengzhou Railway Station
Passengers can take public bus No. 1, 12, 101, Y806 or Y866 to get the railway station. The flag-fall price of the taxi is 6 Yuan/ 2 km (1 USD/1.2 miles) or plus 1.5 Yuan/km (0.4 USD/miles) for longer distance.

The left-luggage office
There are five left-luggage windows where passengers can deposit their luggage. Two are located in the North and South Exit respectively, another two on each side of the entrance and the other in the ticket hall.
