Sanjiang South Railway Station is located in Silian Village, Guyi Town, about 10km away from the centre of Sanjiang County, Liuzhou prefecture, Guangxi province. The station is a brand new high-speed railway station serving the Guizhou-Guangzhou high-speed Railway. At present, the station is still under construction and will start operation in December, 2014.
The expressways from Sanjiang South Railway Station to surrounding cities are all still works in progress. After the construction is finished, Sanjiang will become the transportation junction of Guizhou Province, Guangxi Province and Hunan Province.
Lines and trains
Sanjiang South Railway Station is a stop of the newly built Guizhou-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, about 90km away from Guilin, 190km away from Liuzhou, 400km away from Guiyang, and 600km away from Guangzhou. After the railway station begins operations, it will be only about 1 hour From Guiyang to Sanjiang, and only 2 hours from Sanjiang to Guangzhou by high-speed train.
Local Transportation
The expressway linking Sanjiang County and Sanjiang South Railway Station is under construction and will be opened by the end of 2014. The expressways from Sanjiang South to Liuzhou City and Huaihua City are also under construction.
